BP's guided prairie walk and talk by Suzanne Allen Tuttle, was filled with an enthusiastic and inquisitive group wanting to learn more about prairie flora and fauna and stewardship. Suzanne’s many years of hands on knowledge of prairie wildlife and special symbiotic plant relationships made for a gourmet learning experience. No matter what time of year or the temperature or the distance, participants that were in the group drove from as far as Plano, Fort Worth, Mesquite, and Athens, Texas to learn from BP’s Prairie Expert. With an added bonus and surprise. Randy Johnson of the Dallas Zoo joined us with an amazing knowledge of the prairie as well.
