Don’t Have a Smartphone? No Worries You Can Still Bioblitz!

Calling all

Volunteers are needed to BIOBLITZ!

This is an excellent adventure for neighborhood groups, scout troops, churches, corporate groups, individuals, etc. led by Brett Johnson, Urban Biologist for Dallas Park and Recreation Department. Learn about local wildlife and native plants and wildflowers.

Just because you might not have a smartphone or ability to access the app from a tablet or other app running mobile device doesn't mean observations at the bioblitz are exclusive. If you have access to a camera you can still participate. There are instructions on how to document your observations and on how to upload findings on to the website.

Digital cameras easily upload or even if you have a traditional film camera you love come take a snap at the little things we sometimes miss shuffling around in our urban environment. If you take your film to kiosk for developing film request a digital copy and then upload them to the site. Older equipment don't have to to be obsolete if you know the life hacks to make it work.

Have fun friends and keep an eye here. More bio-fun to come with our BP3 prairie project at White Rock Lake. We look forward to seeing you all at the Blitz! Let's go wild!

@ Harry Moss Park, 8000 Greenville Ave. Dallas Texas. Several ways to register; Sign up at Blackland Prairies and meet our Experts! Sign up with VOLY.org or with DPARD Brett Johnson  one of our featured Experts!
